Composer pianist David Bach will be performing as a featured artist at the 2017 NAMM SHOW for Kurzweil

Composer pianist David Bach will be performing at the 2017 NAMM SHOW for Kurzweil at Booth #6464 in Hall A. on Thursday at 2:30pm.

Bach has been a Kurzweil featured artist since 2015.

The NAMM Show is one of the music industry’s most important events. The 2017 show runs from Thursday January 19th until Sunday January 22nd, and is set to see over 100,000 people visit over 1,700 exhibitors of the latest and most exciting music gear.

David Bach WINS Maryland Music Awards 2016 “BEST JAZZ ARTIST”

Composer pianist David Bach was awarded “BEST JAZZ ARTIST” at the 2016 MARYLAND MUSIC AWARDS Ceremony that was held at Goucher University in Towson, MD on Friday, March 13, 2016. A panel of over 50 judges gave his music the nod in this extremely competitive genre.

Composer: “World Needs More Musicians & Less | WBAL Radio 1090 AM

This is the 35th year for Artscape.

Among the Friday night headliners is the David Bach Consort, led by keyboardist and composer David Bach.

The North Baltimore resident is performing at his fourth Artscape.

He told Maryland’s News This Week that “it is not a cliche” that Artscape is bringing people in a city that many see as divided racially or economically.

“This is a reality, and I think this is why the arts, and music in particular is a universal language, it is something that transcends all different cultures, all different age groups. It’s something that truly brings us together,” Bach told Maryland’s News This Week.

“It breaks down all barriers. I think what we need today is more music. We need more musicians and less politicians.”

In March, Bach won the “Best Jazz Artist” award at the 2016 Maryland Music Awards.

Next Saturday night, July 23, Bach will perform at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center.
